Youbanhua;Galeopsis Bifidae Herba et Flos Sources:The drug is the herb and root of Galeopsis bifida Boenn.(family Labiatae),growing in grassland at the edge of forest or under forest,bushes and wild field,roadside,distributed in the northeast,the north,the northwest and the southwest of China. Constituents:The leaf contains galiridoside,harpagide，gluroside,6-deoxyharpagide. Actions and Indications:It is used to expel superficial evils by opening the pores of the skin,dispel summerheat and wetness evil,induce diuresis,relieve cough and phlegm,for the treatment of common cold due to wetness-evil in summer days,feeling fullness over the chest,cough,dysuria.
